This policy explains how Dr. Ashwini Karve's Homeopathy ("the clinic", "we") handles personal data collected through this website, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
When you request an appointment: your name, mobile number, email address (if you give it), your preferred language, visit type, date and time, the topic you choose and any short note you write.
To keep the site secure: your device's IP address and a session cookie that remembers the form you are filling in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To confirm that the mobile number or email is yours, by sending a one-time code.
- To contact you about your request and fix an appointment.
- To protect the website from abuse.
We use your data only with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the booking form, and only for these purposes.
Who processes it for us
We do not sell or share your data for marketing. These providers handle it on our behalf: Hostinger (website hosting, servers in the provider's data centres), Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, to deliver the one-time code) and Hostinger Mail (email delivery).
How long we keep it
Appointment requests that do not lead to a consultation are deleted after 12 months. One-time codes are deleted within two days. If you become a patient, your records are kept as the rules for medical records require.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Write to the contact below; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
A request for someone under 18 must be made by their parent or guardian.
